This is a powerful stage and parlor prediction effect where the legendary Houdini appears to predict any freely named playing card under completely impossible conditions.
Elegant presentation, fully mechanical method, and an upgraded examinable design make this one of the cleanest 52-card prediction systems available today.
The magician introduces a vintage-style colorful poster of the legendary escape artist Houdini and begins telling a mysterious story about magic transcending time itself.
Throughout the entire performance, the poster remains in full view.
In the artwork, Houdini’s hands are bound by chains, and attached to the chain is a sealed envelope covering part of the poster. Inside lies the prediction.
The magician then invites up to three spectators to make completely free decisions:
For example: Red… Hearts… Eight.
There are no forces and no restrictions.
The magician slowly removes the envelope covering the poster—
And impossibly, Houdini’s prediction is revealed to be the Eight of Hearts.
Any of the 52 cards can be named and correctly predicted.
